I love my Mac!
I had my first Apple Computer in 1985. When I was in Japan at Nagoya University in 1993, I was introduced to the macintosh computer. It was "new" then and the Japanese were hesitant to use it because of the new system. When I returned to the Philippines in 1994, I brought a Powerbook. Today, Apple computers are every where. My wife who is also named "Apple" is now an Apple user -she has an i-phone, i-pad and mac laptop computer. In coffee shops, you will see people proudly display their mac laptops with the apple logo emblazoned at the cover.

Geof's Animations
Last summer, Geof attended an animation class at the Young Artists Studio. He created the scripts of his animations using clay, simple objects, paper and pen and sand. To create an animation of 30 seconds requires about 50 images. Geof creates the animations and his teacher takes the photos. Watch his animations which I produced using Power Director. Enjoy!

Tools for the Digitally Creative
Apple and I are educators and we need to improve our teaching and learning skills by using advanced technology. With the advance digital tools available - some are free and some commercially available at reasonable price - we can create creative presentations and materials that can enhance teaching and learning in the classroom. Through the blog painless technology, I found this slide presentation - 70 Tools 70 Minutes - which is about various digital tools that you may use in creating digital outputs - images, audio, movies, blogs, etc. I have used some of the tools already and found them useful and simple to use. Try the links to these useful resources and explore what you can do with the various digital resources that are available in the internet - most of them are free!
