Pinggan, my favorite carinderia at Mapagkawangga St, Teacher's Village, QC has transformed into "Kalan." There may be new management but the lutong bahay recipes are still there. The old time favorites like the Sisig and Lumpiang Ubod will always be the best sellers. Indeed, at Kalan, you will die for sisig - "dahil sa langit walang sisig" says a flyer.
